David Carlson, director, has 20 years of experience in virtually all aspects of print journalism from reporter and photographer to design editor, managing editor and editor of various daily newspapers. He was founding editor of The Electronic Trib at The Albuquerque Tribune, believed to be the first multi-line, personal-computer-based electronic newspaper product in the world. Ralph Lowenstein
Dean Emeritus

Ralph Lowenstein, associate director, is dean emeritus of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications and has promoted and supported development of electronic newspapers since the early 1980s. Craig Lee
Web Administrator

Craig Lee, college Web administrator, joined the college in 2001, following nearly 10 years at Barr Systems, Inc. where he held editorial positions in documentation and marketing communications before becoming the company's first Webmaster in 1995. Lee's previous experience includes academic publishing positions at UF and Florida International University. He also worked at The Orlando Sentinel and The Sebastian Sun. Visiting professor

David Stanton researches news-reading behaviors with varied statistical methodologies. Currently he teaches Applied Interactive Newspapers and also teaches several labs for the Communications on the Internet course.
