Peruvian Food

What comes to mind when you think of Peru? Probably the great site of Machu Picchu; but there is more to Peru that meets the eye. The culture is full of rich colors and great food to go along with it. While my view on it may be a bit biased since Peru is my birthplace, everyone I have introduced peruvian cuisine to has agreed with me so far. If you don't trust their word for it then why don't' you be judge. Here you can find my family recipes for two of Peru's delicious dishes.

Ceviche

Ceviche

The main dish Peru is known for is Ceviche. An outstanding mix of fish, lime, and vegetables.

Papa a la Huancaina

Papa a la Huancaina

This is a major entree in the Peruvian culture. It consists of potatoes covered in a creamy and spicy huancaina sauce.
