I got this recipe from my friend and roommate, Brooke. This is her mom's recipe for meatballs, and Brooke makes them for every party we have because everyone loves them. Here is what she has to say about the recipe:

"There's nothing like my Mom's meatballs, and she's been making them forever. In fact, devouring them on the Fourth of July with my cousins is one of my earliest memories. They are the best!"

Whatcha Need:

How It's Done:

Begin by cooking the meatballs in a large pan over medium-low heat. Sprinkle the meatballs with a few shots of Worcestershire Sauce.

cooking meatballs

While the meatballs are cooking, make your sauce in a separate, small pot. Add the apricot jam first, and stir it over low heat until it's melted. Add the rest of the ingredients and let the sauce simmer on low heat for 2 minutes.

After the sauce has simmered, pour it over the meatballs. Reduce the heat to low and let the meatballs cook while covered for at least 30 minutes. Stir them around occasionally to make sure that they don't burn.

TIP: If the sauce gets too thick while the meatballs are cooking, add 1-3 tablespoons of water to the pan, stirring constantly until the sauce has thinned out.

last stage

When the meatballs are done, stick some frilly toothpicks in them and watch them disappear.
