Break eggs into a shallow bowl and beat lightly with a fork; stir in milk, sugar and salt. Heat griddle coated with butter over medium heat.

Place bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl, letting them soak up the egg mixture for a few seconds. Then flip to coat the other side. Only soak as many slices as you will be cooking at one time.

Transfer coated bread slices to griddle, heating slowly unil botton is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Serve hot with butter and syrup.

french toast

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top for a tasty as well as asthetically pleasing touch.

Fry up the bacon over the stove or in a toaster oven for a side dish.
