Chocolate Flan Cheesecake Recipe



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted (deep golden brown). Pour into 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Microwave the chocolate on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after each minute. Place milk and cream cheese in blender or mixer. Mix until smooth. Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, eggs and melted chocolate and mix. Pour over syrup in pan.
  3. Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. Remove from oven. Flip cheesecake over onto a plate so that the melted sugar is on top. Refrigerate 4 hours.
