Trams in Prague represent the oldest public transport service. These trams run during the daytime from 4:30 a.m. till midnight and then during the nighttime from 12:30a.m. till 4:30 a.m. Throughout the city, there are trams which are well-connected with the metro and travel in short intervals. A major benefit of using the tram is that they have the right-of-way of pedestrians and cars. However, most tourists do not use this form of transportation because their routes do not follow a grid layout and are confusing to master.
