The Reading Nook:Home

Books are everywhere, in the little nooks and crannies of anywhere, not just places with the title of "bookstore." Without the title however, it may be hard to find those hidden jems. But they are out there. They can be found in the most unexpected of places. And in Gainesville, there are two notable examples that cannot be overlooked.

The Book Chaser:

Located inside a home of antiques, at the Painted Table, The Book Chaser is a section of the store dedicated to exceptionally rare and unusual books. It specializes in books on Florida and the South, children’s books, nature, naturalists and sciences books, and limited, signed and first edition books. The shop also repairs your old books, their spines, covers, enclosures and display boxes. Repairs even extend to leather books and cleanings. As a member of the Florida Antiquarian Booksellers Association, The Book Chaser is the place to go to find books with some history to them.
