The Design and Communication course is an introduction to manual graphic communication, planning, and design representation, with an emphasis on the development of hand graphics for landscape architecture.
The course aims to help students to understand traditional drafting conventions and the representation of graphic communication as an inseparable part of the design process. By learning and eventually mastering drafting and various graphic tools, students will develop an ability to communicate graphically, think visually, and utilize graphics as a part of the design process.
The website is a supplement of the course. Students can find additional information about drawing skills, materials, and can view suggestions from instructor and former students.
