Satisfying the Afternoon Hunger
Around one o'clock most students' stomachs start to rumble. It's lunch time! Why not go back to your dorm room and make a homemade pizza? Lots of supermarkets like Publix sell pizza dough in the bakery section. This is an easy recipe that takes very little prep time and can cook in the oven while students are studying.
Cooking on a budget is a concern for most college students. It is cheaper to make a homemade pizza than to order one from a pizza place. Depending on the pizza toppings, a large homemade pizza ranges in cost from $8 to $10. A large two-topping pizza from Papa John's Pizza cost $12. Not only is it cheaper to make a homemade pizza but it is also faster than waiting for the pizza company to deliever one.
