Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

This dessert is actually semi-homemade. However, adding any type of fresh ingredient really makes a difference. These are perfect for the fall season or any time of year you are in the mood for moist and savory cupcakes.

Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Pumpkin Cupcakes

Prep: 15 minutes Cook time: about 20 minutes

Makes about 12 cupcakes


1 (8.5 oz) box of yellow cake mix(plus all necessary ingredients)

1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

15 oz can of pumpkin puree

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake mix and add pumpkin pie spice and substitute pumpkin puree for water in directions.

2. Pour batter into lined cupcake tin. Place into oven to bake for 18 to 22 minutes.

3. Take out of over and let cool completely.

Cream Cheese Frosting

2 (8 oz.) bars of cream cheese

2 cups confectionary sugar

1. Beat cream cheese and sugar with a mixer until fluffly.

2. Spread over cupcakes once they are cooled. Store in the refrigerator to keep fresh.
