Ethos Vegan Kitchen is a fast-casual vegan restaurant in downtown Orlando, offering plenty of 100% vegan fare. The menu never gets old with daily specials and routine additions.

If you enjoy traditional Sunday brunch, the spot takes its own spin on it with raspberry pancakes and tofu scramble. What's a laid back Sunday without $3.95 mimosas?

A great way to dive into the menu is with a starter, especially the Healthy Trio with olive tapenade, hummus and special mango salsa. You'll feel at one with nature from the Hippie Wrap, a spinach wrap filled with sprouts, hummus, banana peppers, cucumbers, tomato and lettuce.

The fresh grill restaurant chain, Seasons 52, has been honored as one of the best in Orlando. The seasonal meals are light and fresh. I enjoy visting every season to taste new menu choices. The restaurant, which oringinated in Orlando, also is home to "mini indulgences." Customer favorite desserts are created rich and real in a mini shot-sized glass. That way you can enjoy it all without feeling too guilty! I love the Pumpkin Pie Mini with Double Gingersnap Crust in the fall.

All menu items are under 475 calories. What other resturant do you know offers that? I love trying the fish dishes when in season and family members love the steak and mashed potatoes. They also have great salads, flatbreads and roasted vegetables. I tried golden beets for the first time at Seasons 52 and they were delicious! The restaurant really caters to its audience and provides all nutrition info online. I also like to visit the Ft. Lauderdale restaurant location when I'm in the area.

Greens & Grille

4104 Millenia Boulevard• Suite 114 • Orlando, FL 32839 • 407-770-1407

I visited Greens & Grille while I was in Orlando on a random trip to validate a visa for my summer abroad in Europe. We wanted a more upscale choice, but ended up venturing to Greens & Grille before our trip back to Gainesville. The site reminded me of a local Panera Bread, but had both signature and make your own salads and sandwiches.

I went with the Mediterranean salad and praised it for all the classic ingredients for a Greek salad. The portion was huge and left me feeling full and satisfied. Orlando residents and food critics praise the fast dining spot and reward customers with a loyalty card.
