Making Your Story

Children’s Book

1. Gather these materials: paper for pages, a sharp pencil to punch holes, thread for sewing, scissors, cardboard (I used some from a box), a hot glue gun and any materials you need for your book’s content. For example, I wanted to use colorful markers for my text and photographs for my illustrations. My book was about springtime.

2. Figure out how many sheets of paper you will need for your book. Fold this paper down the middle. Using your sharp pencil, punch holes down the middle of the paper you use to make your book.
