Problems of Visual Rhetoric

Just as many other developing theories, Visual Rhetoric has various internal problems. In this video Professor Dobrin from the University of Florida explains some of the problems of Visual Rhetoric.

One of the problems with Visual Rhetoric is the need of Visual Literacy, if you can not read the signs then the message made by them is meaningless. Another problem with Visual Rhetoric is that the theory does not take into account the expiriences or needs of visually impaired individuals.
