Hot Chocolate

Supplies & Ingredients:

  • 4 cups whole or skim milk
  • 8 ounces chocolate
  • 3 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream

Steps:

  1. Chop the chocolate into fine pieces.
  2. Heat the milk in a medium-size pot on low heat. Let it simmer.
  3. Whisk in vanilla, salt, powdered sugar and chocolate until chocolate is melted.
  4. Heat for five more minutes while stirring constantly.
  5. Top with whipped cream.
  6. Enjoy!
