About: Satchel dream of opening a pizza shop came true in 2003 when he opened Satchel's Pizza. Satchel believed if you opened a restaurant with good food in a comfortable setting that it would be successful. He proved that true with Satchel's.

Review: Satchel's Pizza is one of a kind, to say the least. From menu-backs (stories on the back of menus), to Lightnin' Salvage Enterprises (a junk museum/gift shop for people to peruse while they are waiting for a table) at the back of the restaurant, to the live music, garden, bocce ball, fountain, tree house and van you can eat in, Satchel's has got it all.

In addition to the killer atmosphere, Satchel's food is divine. Yes, it is not cheap. Yes, it may take a while to get your food, but it is more than worth it. Satchel's is cash only with an ATM on site that donates the $1.50 service charge to local charities. Side note: try the meatballs on any pizza. You will be glad you did.
