About: The Fat Tuscan Cafe is in a historic house that was built in 1908 and is owned by a husband and wife. The quaint restaurant opened in 2008 and serves homemade, wholesome Italian food for lunch and dinner.
Review: The Fat Tuscan Cafe provides a charming European atmosphere. You enter the restaurant through a small patio with about eight tables and a fountain. Once inside you find yourself in a quaint, homey environment with photos of Italy adorning the walls.
Lunch provides a multitude of salad and sandwich options, including the prosciutto sandwich made of prosciutto, pears, brie and arugula on ciabatta bread and a grilled vegetable sandwich with zucchini, squash, eggplant, portabella mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and mozzarella with pesto spread on ciabatta bread (ask for it pressed). Dinner includes pastas and baked dishes, but you must try the sangria. It is divine.
The Fat Tuscan Cafe is great for a business lunch meeting or a romantic dinner.
