Getting involved in student organizations, clubs and sports is great way to make friends and experience what itís like to be a student leader.

Why to get involved

By being involved, you get the chance to meet students from all different aspects of campus. You get to see what drives your peers, what theyíre passionate about and why they do what they do.

Experiences for jobs

By being an Assistant Director for an organization and rising to Director or President, you get the feel for what corporate America is like. You get to rise up the ladder and practice your intrapersonal skills. You can see how you work in group settings, if you are more individualistic or collectivistic and how to tailor your message to a specific audience. You can have the opportunity to host events, bring in speakers, promote campaigns and work with other student organizations
