Action Campaigns

Save Fukushima Animals Visual Petition Campaign. The Hachiko Coaliton launched its "Save Fukushima Animals Visual Petition Campaign" on October 23, 2011. The idea materialized after one of the coalition's supporters, Mr. Tagaki Tatsuo of Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa, Japan, posted an image of his two dogs with signs around their necks with a plea to the Japanese government. Nancy Gothard, president of Hachiko Coalition, is personally committed to this campaign. Please help us raise awareness by sending an email to Nancy at nancy@hachiko-coalition.org . with a photo of your dog, cat, cow, heifer, bull, horse, or other livestock, and include a message to the Japanese government to allow rescues of the Fukushima animals. The visual petition is sent to Japanese government officials daily and will be posted on the 20 km barricade in Fukushima. For continuous updates on the animals and our efforts, visit the HC Facebook and Twitter pages.
