Step Two- Cutting up the pieces:
It's very important to decide which side will fit which theme and keep track of that. You don't want to accidentally sew the wrong halves of your shirts! When you have decided, you may begin to make cuts.
Be warned! Making cuts through the exact middle of your clothing will not give you the desired results! Because you are sewing the pieces together, you will lose some of the fabric, and might end up with a smaller size.
Cut at least an inch wider than half of the shirts, so that you have the extra fabric for the seam. Skirts should be cut the same way. Pants can be adjusted by ripping out the pre-sewn seam up the center, or by cutting over a little onto the other side, as you would with the shirts.
