Florida Museum of Natural History

The UF campus is host to the Florida Museum of Natural History. This museum, located next to the Harn Museum, is the largest natural history museum in the Southeast and the first in the state.

One of the biggest attractions of the Natural History Museum is the permanent exhibit, the Butterfly Rainforest. Here, you can walk among 60 to 80 species of butterflies and see live releases.

Entrance to the permanent exhibits, excluding the Butterfly Rainforest, are free for students. Discounts are available with a Gator1 ID for the temporary and butterfly exhibits.
