Every ingredient of your meal travels an average of 1,500 miles to get to your plate. Scientific studies established this number decades ago, and more recent reports put the number even higher due to the increased globalization of the agriculture industry and the rapid spread of fast food.


Eating is one of the easiet political statements you can make. But unlike heading to the polls maybe once every two years, you probably eat three times a day. Vote with your fork everytime you eat!
