Garlic Bread

Garlic Bread

A loaf of bread, either Italian or a French baguette
One stick of softened butter
2 cloves of garlic (about 1 tsp. if you use the pre-minced garlic like I do)
Grated Parmesan

1.) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

2.) Take your bread and cut it in half, long ways, so that you have two flat halves.

3.) Make sure that your butter is soft enough to work with, and mix it with the garlic. If your butter isn’t soft, you can microwave it for no longer than 5 seconds at a time. You want it to be soft, but not melted.

4.) Once the butter and garlic are mixed together and the butter is soft enough to spread, take a spatula and spread a good amount of it over each piece.

5.) Bake it in the oven on a cookie sheet for about 10 minutes, or until the top turns golden.

6.) When the top is gold, but not yet crispy, take the bread out of the oven, and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on the top.

7.) Put the bread back into the oven for about 3 minutes, or until the top starts to turn brown.
