Heartbreak is an indescribable pain that can't be healed with a band-aid, a stiff drink or a one night stand.

Give yourself time to mourn the death of your relationship. It's okay to be a little depressed or sad when your part ways with someone that you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with. This is a person that you opened up to and became vulnerable with. He probably held a special place in your heart. After a break up, it may seem as if something is missing in your life. After all you two probably spent a lot of days (and nights) together and become deeply invested in one another.

So it's okay to cry. Just let it out. It's okay to cuddle up in your bed with a box of tissues for a week or two, just don't forget to eat and shower. It's okay to be angry too. It's natural to feel angry after a break up, especially if the other hurt you or betrayed your trust. It's your job to release your anger. Find ways to release your anger. Be honest about your feelings. Don't pretend to be okay when you're really not.
