These quick fitness moves will get you sculpted.

Make sure you take advantage of your campus group fitness classes. They're a free service offered at most universities. I love Zumba. It's a Latin fitness class that's pretty much the best workout I've ever had.

To get started at home all you'll need is a few basic pieces of equipment.

The easiest fitness activity in the world is running. There are all kinds of strains. I'm not going to lie. It can be too cold outside, too hot, too muggy.

But there is nothing easier than putting one foot in front of the other. And it's free!

For home use there are a couple of videos that are my faves:



is awesome. The cardio session in this daily workout doesn't really feel like you're getting much done until halfway through but you will definitely feel it in every muscle in your body the next day.



30 Day Shred

Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred

is a quick, easy workout and all you need are your dumbbells and a DVD player. If you follow it all the way through (20 minutes a day for 30 days) you'll get results.

The hardest part of this video is stomaching Jillian for 20 minutes. It's ONLY 20 minutes though so it isn't too difficult to suck it up.




There are so many great things I could say about Zumba. It doesn't feel like a workout. It really feels like a party. You can burn up to 1500 calories an hour. It's the most fun but intense workout you'll ever have. For at-home use the video is great but to really burn the calories you need to try out a class near you.
