We strive to promote the Ecuadorian culture at the University of Florida, while embracing Ecuadorians, non-Ecuadorians and the UF campus to spread awareness of our culture.

UF ECUASA is a social organization that organizes cultural events. Previously, ECUASA has organized fundraising events, including profit dinners at Larry's Subs, co-sponsored tailgate during a UF football gameday, and "Fiestas de Quito" (Celebration for the founding of Quito, Ecuadorian capital).

Want to help the world?

If you are interested in being part of ECUASA and doing community service, please contact David Armas with any ideas or previous work you have done. We would love to have your help!

Community Service

As a new organization, ECUASA has yet to have an official community service project. Still, considering some of ECUASA's values, such as diversity and unity, we plan on selecting a non-profit organization as the official philanthropic group to help. It is important to instill a sense of giving back and dedication within our organization and it is only through our members that we will make this vision possible. We welcome any ideas of organizations or non-profits to serve.
