About Bags Under Eyes

Puffiness under the eyes can be caused by lack of sleep and exercise, malnutrition, aging, heredity and nasal allergy. According to webmd.com, darkness under the lower lid is a thinning of the skin that exposes the blood vessels underneath. In order to reduce the bags under your eyes, you should address your water retention. Different people store excess fluids in different places. Some people store it under the eye lid, causing bags. To prevent this from happening, reduce your sodium intake and drink lots of water. Make sure you exercise regularly and avoid drinking alcohol. Eating a well-balanced diet can also help. Lastly, swelling can be reduced by putting cucumber slices or refrigerated spoons over your eyes.
