STEP ONE: CREATING YOUR IMAGE

Deciding on what you are going to print is sometimes the hardest part of screen-printing. However once you have decided, there are only a few simple steps that you need to take to turn your image into something printable.

This diagram shows you what will happen when you invert the color of your image. If you print out the tree as a black image after you burn the screen your print will look like the green tree below it when you are done (if you printed it with green ink). The white tree with the black background will result in the white tree with the green background when you are done printing.

NOTE:

The instructions provided on this site are for single color printing so you will only be dealing with one layer of your image.
