How to Survive at UF

This is a picture of UF students at a charity event.

The Reitz Union

If you haven't participated in any of the Reitz Union's free events for students-YOU ARE CRAZY! They provide free movies, midnight breakfast, bowling, arts and crafts and even shows!

RUB Entertainment

The Reitz Union Board (RUB) entertainment provides students with mainly free events almost every day, including: movies, bands, comedians, cultural events, educational events...etc.

Gatornights is a late night program that takes place every friday during the Fall, Spring, and Summer B semesters. It's completely free to go and offers a FREE midnight breakfast. They have different activities like movies, video game tournaments, dj's, dances, bands, and more.

Game Room

Don't be afraid to go to the lower levels of the Reitz Union, because way down under is a bowling alley, billiards, snooker, and arcade games. Although this isn't completely free to students, the rates are much cheaper than going anywhere else.

The Game Room

If you're tired of campus, the TRiP program provides an alternate activity for your long boring weekends: traveling outdoors and into the wild. They provide hiking, kayaking, and camping trips in and out of state. Their staff includes students who are trained in wilderness training. If you're interested in being a staff member and go on trips with them, you can be one too!
