About the Creator

My name is Sara Clark. I am a 21-year-old student at UF, working to get my bachelors in journalism with a minor in business. I am originally from Salem, Ma. where I lived until I was 9 years old. I moved to Gainesville, Fla. in the summer of 1997 and I have been living here ever since.

I have a variety of interests, all under the general topic of "the arts," so for example writing, painting, web design (ever since I began this class), singing, dancing and reading.

I work almost full time at JCPenney as a customer service associate. I have been working there since the summer of 2006.

I have two dogs: Trista and Gizmo. Trista is a 3-year-old, 37 pound hound/shepherd mix.Her coat is blonde with white marks on her belly and white "socks." She is my angel! Gizmo is my 6-month-old 5 pound chihuahua mix. He has a chocolate-brown coat mixed in with perfect white markings. He could be better behaved but I'm hoping better behavior will come when he's older.

I have been a student at UF since the summer of 2009. I transfered to UF from Santa Fe College, so when I entered into UF I was familiar with the college lifestyle minus the complicated politics surrounding the huge UF campus.

I thought up the idea for this site for my Online Communications class (mmc3260-which I HIGHLY recommend), but I want to strive to keep it running even after the end of the semester. There are many tips and aspects about UF that aren't listed in the brochures or talked about in orientation. They are tips that only UF students can really tell you.

So this site was constructed for the mind set of the student. Please enjoy.
