Miami Design Preservation League
http://www.mdpl.org/Barbara Capitman started this non-profit organization in 1976. Since then, it has worked to preserve, protect and promote the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District and all areas in need of protection. Miami-Dade Country residents can participate in cultural and education programs through the MDLP, billed as the oldest Art Deco society in the world.

North Beach Development Corporation
http://www.gonorthbeach.com/A non-profit community development organization whose membership is open to the public. Members are devoted to revitilizing the North Beach area from 63rd Street to 87th Terrace on Miami Beach. Boat tours and maps of North Beach are available through the organization.
