Ethical and Legal Issues in Public Relations

What exactly is CSR?

Different organizations have framed and defined Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to mean slightly different things. However, there is a common ground between them. According to Mallen Baker, Impact on Society Director for Business in the Community, "CSR is about how companies manage the business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society."

The goal of business that operates under a CSR framework is to meet or exceed the ethical, legal, commercial and public expectations that society has in place for businesses.
