[picture of an elephant]Elephants
The elephant is the largest animal living on land, and it is the second tallest. Elephants are extremely strong and highly intelligent. They can be trained and are always fun to watch at the zoo or circus. They have a nose in the form of a trunk, which they use as a hand. Elephants have gray, wrinkled skin that hangs in loose folds. They weigh about 2,000 pounds, so WATCH OUT! Elephants mostly live in Africa, India or Southeast Asia.
