Treatment

ADHD is very easy to treat. Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Pediatricians/Family Doctors, and Neurologists can all diagnose ADHD. Psychologists can not prescribe medications, but they can provide counseling.

After being diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, your doctor will help you decide what the best treatment is for you. There are many ways to treat ADD/ADHD, but not one single treatment is the key. Combinations of these treatments may be used. Treatments include:

  • Medication
    Ritalin
    Dexedrine
    Cyler
    ADDERALL
  • Counseling
  • Behavior Modifying
  • Self-Reinforcement
  • Dietary investigations (there is no scientific evidence that this is effective)
