Keeping Healthy
Overuse injuries are far too common among long distance runners. Let’s face it, running can be addicting; maybe it is the need for sweat, or for the great feeling you get when pushing yourself on a long run. Sooner or later, your body becomes tired, your muscles ache, you suffer nagging soreness and become a prime candidate for an overuse injury. So how do you avoid it?
Whether you like to admit it or not, running isn’t the only beneficial form of exercise. Incorporating yoga into a regular exercise routine will not only help you avoid injuries, it may actually improve your performance. So what are the benefits of yoga?
