Chocolate Ice Cream

Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring the mixture to boil slowly. Place the vailla pod into it and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Next, in a bowl, beat and mix together the egg yolks and the sugar until the mixture is thick. Then pour the milk into the mixture, drop in the chocolate squares and heat it on low until the custard-like substance thickens (not to a boil).

When the substance firms, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool. When the mixture is cold, stir it, and then transfer it into an ice cream maker and freeze. The ice cream maker should have instructions on how to operate it.

  • 1 a pint of milk
  • 1/2 a pint of double/heavy cream
  • Two ounces of sugar
  • 150 grams of milk chocolate cut into small pieces
