Each shoe box makes its journey from the hands of its giver to the hands of a child.
- National Collection Week: Drop off your shoe boxes during the 2009 collection week, November 16-23.
- Deliver it: Bring your shoe box to your church or civic group. Individuals and groups then bring their boxes to the nearest Relay or Collection Center. To find out the nearest drop-off location near you, call 1-800-353-5949.
- Country: A child from another country will receive your gift. This year, shoe boxes will be sent to over 100 countries. Children in war-torn or poverty-stricken countries may find rare joy.
