Combat fire pole

The dispatch call is heard throughout the station. In seconds firefighters must slide down the pole, be dressed and in the truck to answer the call. They rush toward the emergency and consciously enter a burning building, treacherous forests, and hazardous situations. Combat is the danger of the profession, but it is what a true firefighter lives for.

Firefighters can answer to a number of different calls. At times, there are individuals that are specifically trained respond to certain emergencies. The typical emergency calls include, but are not limited to:
