"Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote."
- George Jean Nathan -

There are 26.9 million citizens between the ages of 18-25 years-old and 59.9% of them are registered to vote. They make up 14% of the total eligible voters in America and only 42% of those eligible voted in the 2000 election. When all those who are 0-18 years-old right now are of voting age, it will be a larger group than the Baby Boomer generation. (1) It is becoming more an more important for young people to take an active role in the politics that will effect their future, and one of the best ways to do this is to vote.
