Etiquette

These 10 hints will help make the planning of your wedding and the big day that much bettter.

1.
Thank You Cards are a must!
2.
Figure out who is helping to pay?
3.
Don't spend beyond your  means.
4.
Invitations, get them out and early.
5.
Bridal Shower Guest Lists, can't invite just anyone.
6.
Consult with someone who knows about weddings.
7.
Personalize your wedding and reception, but do not make it tacky.
8.
Remember you and your new spouse are the host and hostess.
9.

Spend time at your reception and enjoy your guests.

  • Most people who attend weddings come to see the ceremony, but everyone wants to say "Congratulations" or give some advice to the new couple.
  • Spend time with your guests mingling between tables.
  • Traditionally the happy couple leaves after the cake cutting, but if you want to stay longer to visit, please do! Some people have come a long way and would like a few moments with you.
  • If there are kids attending the reception, perhaps put small items to entertain them on the tables.
10.
Calling off the wedding!
