Solace

Some sources believe reading about Harry Potter and other magic-themed literature may cause children more stress than it relieves.

Some sources believe that the roles of good versus evil are not distinguished clearly enough in the novels.¹ Children could become psychologically sickened by the significance of an evil force that is present in Harry Potter. Further, children may not have the emotional tools to adequately deal with Harry's stressful situations the way an adult could.
