Getting around in Sevilla is easy. The center of Sevilla is compact and easily accessible by foot. Walking from the Universidad de Sevilla and el Parque María Luisa to Plaza Nueva is less than 20 minutes. Sevilla also has an efficient and timely city bus system, as long as it is not affected by strikes in the Plaza Nueva area. Taxis are also ample and cheap.
Horse and Carriage—Coche de Caballos are available in El Parque de María Luisa and at almost every major intersection. They are mainly for tourists but are a great way to see the city.
City Bus—Los Autobuses Urbanos cost .90€ per ticket, or billete. If you plan to stay a while, it will be more economical to buy a 10-trip Bonobus pass. For more information about Sevilla’s city bus system contact Tussam (4).
Taxi—It is not difficult to hail a taxi with a libre sign and illuminated green light, indicating that it’s available. There are several taxi companies: Radio Taxi (95 458 00 00), Tele Taxi (95 462 22 22) and Radio Telefónico Giralda (95 467 55 55) (4).
