Nerve Gliding Program
Begin in position 1 with the head laterally flexed to the affected side; fingers, wrist and elbow are fixed. In position 2, the head comes to neutral. By position 3, the hand has moved across the chest and down to hip level, the arm gradually abducts as the patient comes to position 4 and progresses through position 6. Lateral cervical flexion to the opposite side is the final component of this glide added in position 7.
