Creating credibility

Credibility is an issue for the Web as a whole. As a result, Web writers are challenged with creating copy that users view as credible in a medium they do not trust.

A few ways to create credibility are:

  • Use well-written text.
  • Be sure pages are well-designed.
  • Use good outside sources.
  • Be careful when linking to outside sources (this topic discussed further in the section titled outbound links.
