Traditional ZinesImagine yourself working alone, late at night. Before you are clippings of artwork culled from magazines and newspaper ads. Balanced on one knee is a short stack of essays and reviews written by you. In your hand is a crow-quill pen--the kind you have to dip in a bottle of India ink. You are desperately trying to come up with a design for the cover of the next issue of... what? What is your zine called? And more importantly, what is it about? Take heart! Many others have gone before you, and succeeded in producing... something. And while each zine is unique, it usually ends up staggering into one of these genres:6
