Breakfast Parfaits

Quick to prepare, this simple breakfast dish can be modified using whatever kind of fruit, yougurt, and ceral you prefer.


  • One 6-8 oz. container yogurt (any flavor)
  • One banana
  • A few strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • A half cup of granola or cereal
  • Tall glass
  • Knife

Prep time: 5 min.

It's packed with calcium, and the berries offer a ton of fiber that will keep you felling full longer.

  1. Wash the berries.
  2. Cut the banana in half longways, then into medium-sized slices.
  3. Slice the berries.
  4. Put a fourth of the yogurt into the cup.
  5. Top with a fourth of the sliced fruit, then a fourth of the granola.
  6. Repeat steps four and five until you've used all of the yogurt, granola, and berries.
  7. Eat.
