Congratulations! The hard part is over!
You have your savory, fragrant simple syrup complete and ready. So, don't lose that- it's your most important ingredient.
Now all that's left to do is mix in a couple more key items and you're done!
So this is what you'll need:
Red apples (3 or 4, or the equivalent in pre-packaged slices)
Pineapple pieces (you can use the ones in the simple syrup mixture if you still have them) 
2 Bottles of Red Spanish Table Wine (this can be any type of wine, and shouldn't cost more than $8 per bottle)
A large serving bowl or jug
3 or 4 extra cinnamon sticks
And, of course, your simple syrup! (about 1/4 of the mixture)
