Intro to Basic Burrito Rolling

For this rolling method, I must give credit where credit is due. I am using the process used by Chipotle Mexican Grill. It seems to be the most effective and versatile. No matter how rotund or slender your burrito, this will work every time.

According to Billy Beard, Kitchen Manager for Chipotle, this method of rolling isn't the only one that will work, but it is very reliable.

"We roll hundreds of burritos a day and probably only break four or five," Beard said. "It's a great way for beginners to learn and apply to any food they want to roll."

Now obviously there are limits (as most Chiptole fans have seen at some point). If you put so much food in the tortilla that the two sides canít touch around it, your success will be hanging in the air and the elasticity of your tortilla. But 98% of the time, this will be great.

After mastering this skill feel free to expand upon it. Pretty soon you'll be rolling all of your food! Well, maybe not everything...
