Food

Kaya Toast
Bread with sweet egg jam. Absolutely delicious with a morning mug of Singapore’s Kopi-O (black tea)
Roti Prata
A pancake made in a mixture of rice flour, water and eggs. Usually eaten with curry or sugar
Laksa

Satay
Chunks of meat (beef, chicken, pork, mutton, goat) roated on bamboo skewers and usually eaten with Ketupat (a Malay dish made of glutinous rice steamed in bamboo leaves) and yummy peanut gravy
Fried Carrot Cake
Not to be mistaken with Western Carrot Cake. Made of rice flour and white radish which can be fried either in Black Soy Sauce or just plainly stir fried
Rojak
Rojak literally means a mess of everything. There are two versions, the Chinese rojak, made up of tofu, fried bread, raddish and pineapples with sweet black soy and peanut sauce, and the Indian rojak which is made up of fried sausages, bread, potatoes, tofu, tempeh, prawns and eaten with reddish peanut sauce
Chilli Crab
Singapore’s favorite! Hard shelled crab cooked in thick tomato gravy. A must try for all sea food lovers
Char Kway Teow
Flat rice noodles cooked in dark soy sauce and an assortment of sea food and vegetables
Fish Head Curry
As the name suggests, it’s the fish head cooked in tomato based curry, okra and brinjals
King of Fruits
Daring enough??? Try to take on the King of Fruits!
