Is climbing for you?

Dan Osman was known for being an extreme climber. He often practiced free-soloing, where he would climb without ropes and other safety gear (don't try this at home), and controlled free-falling, which is the practice of falling hundreds of feet from a cliff to be caught by a safety rope. He died in 1998 due to rope failure when he was in Yosemite National Park performing a free-fall. He is admired by many climbers around the world for his dedication to climbing. Watch him climb.
