Caroline Burckle

Caroline Burckle is an American swimmer expected to compete in the 2008 Olympics. Burckle is currently a senior at the University of Florida. She specializes in the freestyle.
Florida: As a Gator, Burckle currently is a 16-time All-American in her senior season. She already owns UF’s all-time record for the 800 Freestlye and as part of the 400 Medley Relay.
Past Olympics: If Burckle qualifies at the at the 2008 US Olympic Team Trials in Omaha June 29- July 6, 2008, this would be her first Olympic appearance. Caroline Burckle
Road to Beijing: Burckle dazzled at the 2007 Pan American games winning the gold in the 800 Freestyle. She also placed fifth in the 400 Freestyle at Nationals this year. Burckle was officially named to the US National team in October of 2007. Only the swimmers with the top six times in Olympic races at four events held in 2007 are considered.
